Judy Dutcher is the Washington Regional Coordinator for Bridges To Life in the Seattle area. She coordinates projects at the Mission Creek Corrections Center for Women in Belfair, Cedar Creek Corrections Center in Littlerock, Washington Corrections Center in Shelton, and the Washington State Reformatory, Twin Rivers Unit and Minimum Security Unit at the Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe.

In December 1989, Judy's 13-year-old daughter, Kelly Brumbelow, was brutally murdered by their 12-year-old next door neighbor. In 1991, Judy first started sharing her victim impact story with incarcerated youth in Texas. In 1995, she began taking her message into the adult prisons by joining forces with the TDCJ Victims Services Division. When Bridges To Life was founded, Judy volunteered in the Halbert and Kyle units near her home in Austin until she moved to Washington in 2009.

After moving away, Judy stayed very homesick for Texas. In early 2014, she realized that her involvement in Bridges To Life was what she missed the most. She reached out to Executive Director, John Sage, to begin the process of introducing Bridges To Life to the Washington Department of Corrections.

Judy is now leading programs in women's and men’s prisons across western Washington. She is very excited about the role she plays in changing lives through Bridges to Life.
