Charles Fisher is the BTL Dallas/Fort Worth Area Regional Coordinator for projects at the Hutchins Unit in Dallas, Cole Unit in Bonham, Estes Unit in Venus, the Dallas Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, and the Dallas Parole Transitional Center.
Earlier in his life, Charles spent several years lost in the world of drugs and alcohol, eventuating in his incarceration. While serving his sentence at the LeBlanc Unit in Beaumont, he participated in the Bridges To Life program. Charles applied the principles he learned to create a successful life after his release, and considers his life to be proof that God is a God of not only second but third chances!
Charles began volunteering for BTL in 2015 at the Hutchins Unit in Dallas, and in 2017 became BTL’s first staff member who is also a BTL graduate. He also serves as the Director of Community Outreach for Waterside Church in Grapevine, Texas, and is a founding member of Life on the Rock International, a ministry devoted to taking the Gospel to those behind bars. Charles was Ordained as a minister of Jesus Christ in 2014.
Charles is married to Nicole Fisher, an active Bridges To Life volunteer, and has two wonderful four legged children, Molly and Wall-E.
