Mindy is Bridges To Life's second Greater Houston Area Regional Coordinator, sharing the region with Dolores Stoughton.
​
Mindy started as a BTL volunteer in 2012 and has served as a crime victim speaker, program facilitator, and Project Coordinator for Bridges To Life. After her oldest daughter was killed in 2009 by an impaired driver, Mindy became very active in the community, including volunteering with MADD victim services, serving on the government affairs committee, as a victim speaker, and was named 2021 Volunteer of the Year. She also started her own nonprofit foundation to bring awareness to impaired, distracted, and drunk driving. Mindy has worked in the veterinary field for 26 years.

Mindy and husband John have two teenagers and one young adult child who all live in Angleton, Texas.
