​Bridges To Life

As Communications Manager for Bridges To Life, Val manages BTL's website, social media, newsletters, database, fundraising campaigns, and special events. She also provides grant writing services along with administrative support in all areas of BTL’s operations and program function.

Val, a native Houstonian, has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, from education to social services to nonprofit capacity building, and joined the Bridges To Life team in 2016. She also volunteers for BTL in both the program facilitator and project coordinator roles. As a sexual assault survivor, Val shares her story as a crime victim speaker as well.

 

Val has three grown children and resides in Houston.
